Hi Cathy,
My grandfather, John Marion McLamb, of Brunswick County, NC, had a sister named Bessie. I remember "Aunt Bessie" as I was growing up, and it seems she lived somewhere near Tabor City. I cannot remember who she was married to, (I was too young) but I know we are related to the Soles in Columbus County NC, as well as the ones across the state line in SC. I will see what I can find out from my mother, she has most of the information you seek. We are also distantly related to some of the Faircloths as well. Will get back to you on all this.
