I noticed that messages stopped being posted to this board once I started inquiring about slave owners. Slavery is part of my history just like the Confederate Flag is to someone else. I hope others have not stopped posting to this board because I really would like to know who own my ancestors. At the end of slavery the only McLamb's that were black were listed in Sampson County. The name Isham McLamb has been thrown as the slave owner of Dublin and Eliza Jane McLamb. If you have any information, please share it. Thanks.
