Found--MCLAMB in IRELAND

Does anybody know about this JAMES MCLAMB I found in the COUNTY ANTRIM, 1851 census? (Listed below.)
What about other McLambs in Ireland? Scotland?
This listing may mean that the McLamb name, including its various spellings, already existed before the family came to America. Some have speculated that the family name was originally Lamb but was changed in the US to McLamb. It would also indicate the Scot-Irish heritage my McLambs have claimed, since Antrim is in the North.
This is the only McLamb I have found across the Pond. Did everybody else already know about this, and I'm just way behind?
Here's the listing:

Ballinderry

3 AGHACARNAN TOWNLAND , Ballinderry County Antrim (1851)
JOHN TUFT, HEAD, M, 60, FARMER, ANT,
RUTH TUFT , WIFE, M, 52, SPINNING LINEN, ANT,
JAMES MCLAMB , SERVANT, U, 18, LABOURING, ANT,
MARY MCKNIGHT, SERVANT, U, 40, HOUSE SERVANT, ANT,
So what does everybody think?
