Lord of West Denton!?

Hi, new and all, and I've only just recently started looking up information on my family name. Up until recently I had presumed it was entirely Irish, until I finally found the family crest at a little shop that deals with that sort of thing, and it said it was specifically scottish. Now I'm having a little trouble. I've found very little information on what clan McLamb might be a part of, and what Tartan one of the McLamb line would wear.
I found some information that stated that the first Mclamb that this researcher found was in Northumberland, where they were Lords of the manor of West Denton. I'd like to find some more information on that aswell, if anyone could help out with that. Really what I'm looking for is an exact family crest and tartan to go by. I just think it would be nice to know about.

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help!
