Hi Donna!!!

Thank you so much for the lead. Is there any evidence or sources that would confirm Susan McLamb was the daughter of William McLamb of Duplin Co.?

I did some sleuthing and found out that William McLamb married Spicy Joyner. My great-great-great grandmother, Elizabeth Beasley was the daughter of Benjamin Beasley and Susan McLamb. Well....Elizabeth Beasley married John Green Raynor/er and one of their daughters was named Spicey. It could be possible that Spicey was named after her mother's grandmother Spicey Joyney McLamb. Interesting.....

Thanks and I will look forward to hearing from you.

In Friendship,
Bill Pavao
