I have found that Nathaniel had a son named Evan who was born in/around 1889. My great-grand fathers name was Evan, Im trying to figure out if they are the same person. Evan died in Texas in the early 1930's. Evan was married to Gertrude(Kelso)McLain. They had 6 children Dera May, Joe, Opal, A.G., J.C., and Ella. It is my understanding that after Evan died Gertrude changed the spelling of our last name to McClain. Any information that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.
