Hello everyone
My Mclachlan ancestors are Peter,ggGrandfather married to Mary McDonald. John McDonald McLachlan, gGrandfather married to Agnes Young. Catherine McLachlan, grandmother married to Sinclair Bain Rosie. The name has changed to Mclauchlan with recent generations. Peter McLachlan was a coalminer, living at 98 Caledonian Road, Cambusnethan, Lanark Scotland on the 1881 Census. He was aged 50. Living at the same address were Mary,48 wife. George, 17 son, also a coalminer. Margaret, 14. Peter, 12 and Mary 9. I have been unable to go back any further as yet in tracing Peter's parents. Any help would be appreciated.
