It was nice to get a message from you. Our John McLachlan's are one of the same. He married my Great Grandmother (name unknown) in Chicago in 1906. I was told that he had 5 wives. My mother only knew the one wife (Roxanne) Which was his 2nd wife.
He and my Great Grandmother had four children: 1. Robert b: 1907, Helen b: 1912 (my grandmother), Francis b: bet. 1913-1919, and Isabel b: 1920. I was also told that he ONLY had children with his first wofe! WRONG!
The records I have go back to a Michael McLachlan b: abt 1801 and died abt 1878. I found this info. through a gentleman who lives in England, but, came from Scotland.
