George's siblings were: William J., Lucie Ann, Arenthia, John E, Cheselton Kenneth, Missouri and Frances "Fannie Nottingham. The mother elizabeth Ann Nottingham died 18 nov 1874 in Northampton Co., VA. William James McKown, her husband, was a lawyer and Real Estate broker.
