Hi Ann,

I actually am a McKown decendent. It is my husband that is a Frye decendent. There family orginated in Germany and first settled in Berea, Cuyahoga Co., OH. Part of the family stayed in OH. One moved to Cushing, Payne Co., OK, one to Fremont, Dodge Co., NE, one to Mount Vernon, Grant Co., OR and my husbands ancestor moved to Palmyra, Lenawee Co., MI. If any of this sounds familar email me and I can give you more info.

Richard isn't in my ancestors that I know of. He could possible be related. He is in the area of some of what would be my GGGG Aunts and Uncles.

My McKown ancestory starts out with:

Andrew McKown/Unknown
Gilbert McKown/Lady Jane Crawford
James McKown/Phebe Casto
Gilbert McKown/Lydia Flesher
Hiram F. McKown/Sarah Lewis
Samuel Israel McKown I/Mary Eva Hilpert
Samuel Israel McKown II/Annebelle B. Hutchins
Albert Hutchins McKown/Myra Elenora Long (these are my grandparents)

Thank you
Victoria
