Hi Victoria,
Haven't researched Richard McKown as the name Richard is unknown to my McKown research, however, the location is correct. My question to you is are you perhaps decended from Solomon Fry of Andrew/DeKalb Mo counties. He was quite a man I have a very interesting story about him.
