John: Many thanks for your information - it is much appreciated.
I wonder if you could check Mildred McKown's notes to verify that James French and Abraham Hilton both died on February 15? Sometimes it is easy to make transcription errors of this sort.
Might I also ask if Mildred McKown had information about any other Hiltons? The 1850 census for James French included a Rebecca Hilton, age 70, in the household and I would like to identify her. Catherine Hilton's mother was named Anna Stormes and I am unable to fit Rebecca into the family tree.
