I am searching for informtion on the family of MIchael and Mary McKone who lived in Waterloo NY circa 1840. Both lived in Waterloo for most, if not all of their lives. They had 8 children, my grandfather John William McKone was one of their sons. Have had some success locating information and relatives in Waterloo and Seneca County. I am looking for immigration information on Michael. The best I can determine he came to this country from Ireland as a child so we are looking for information on where and when.
