Looking for family of Catharine McKnight, born approximately 1863 in Ireland. Trying to link the McKnight family with the James Irvine family, also from Ireland. My "infant" great-aunt was named "Catharine McKnight Irvine", but died at just one year old from "convulsions".
The elder Catharine McKnight died as the result of burns received when her clothing caught on fire from her stove. This is a family story that my mother thought referred to great-aunt Fannie Irvine.
I have found a Sarah McKnight and James Irvine who married in Ulster in 1824; perhaps Catharine was James' or Sarah's sister?
Any hints or information will be received gratefully!
