LILLIAN MCKLVEEN vs. HENRY BENNETT MCKLVEEN is an action for divorce. They were married at DeKalb, Iowa, on Dec. 26, l893 and lived together until Jan. l6, l900.The plaintiff alleges that since their marriage she has at all times conducted herself as a loving and dutiful wife, and that on Jan. l6, l900 defendant deserted her without cause and has ever since absented himself and failed to provide plaintiff with any support. That after their marriage defendant became addicted to the use of cocaine and morphine to such an extent that he has at five different times taken so-called cures without being successfully cured. That for weeks from the use of said drugs he would by his acts frighten, worry and cause this plaintiff to lose sleep and rest to such an extent as to endanger her health and life. She asks for a decree of divorce and that she be awarded the custody of their minor daughter, MARGARET, now four years of age.Ed. H. Sharp, attorney for plaintiff.
