This is what I know so far:

William McKittrick married Agnes Heron. I have some further info on her family. I'm finding a connection with Ulster, Scotland, where the name begins to change to MaKittrick, MacKetterick, McKittrick, McKittreck, and Shitruig (gaelic). This i am finding is Ulster Plantation.

An important fact I found is that Emery Elwin McKitrick (either William's son or grandson) was married to Minnie Emmons, but was also married to Celestia Pearl Boeshans later(a fact that many people researching do not seem to have in their records). The history I know, not verified, is that Celestia Pearl also had children, my grandfather one, Warren F. McKitrick. I see many children listed for Minnie Emmons, but rarely see the children of Celestia Pearl.

I have good information regarding Warren F. McKitrick on up, and fairly good information regarding John McKitrick, Civil War vet that was at Andersonville Prison in Georgia. I also have his gravesite record.

If interested, please feel free to email me at dts10verizon.net.

Thanks, Christine (daughter of Loretta Pearl McKitrick)
