Spartanburg Journal newspaper obit.
Newberry, Jan.6- J.W. McKITTRICK , a Confederate Veteran,
and member of James D. Nance Camp in Newberry, died Tuesday morning in the 80th year of his age at his home in the Bush River section of Newberry County after a week's illness.
Services will be held at Bush River church, conducted by Rev. George Hopkins. He is survived by five children; MRS. MINNIE REID, J.M. , J.A., and T.G. McKITTRICK of Laurens Co. and MRS. J.J. LONGSHORE of Bush River section. He is also survived by a brother, J.T. of near his old home.
