Hi Judy, I too have trace back to the McKissock/Dempster union. My branch starts with their other son John born abt 1829 and died 1878. Place of death is listed as Kinning Road, Glasgow. He was married to Mary Hall on 31 Dec 1857 at New Road, Newton. I am new to matters genealogical and I have collected a lot of my information from Mike Hal's Family History @ Ancestry.com.
