You may e-mail me any time you like. :-) I think my Daniel McKisick came into the country through PA. He was born about 1755 and was first heard of in Burke County, NC at the Battle of Ramsour's Mill during the Rev. war. Then there was a John McKisick found in Granville County, NC as early as 1755. Various and sundry spellings of the name abound, but Daniel himself spelled his name "McKisick" and so did his son James. Also, the above named "John." Any hint of a migratory pattern for the McKissicks/McKisicks/McKessocks, etc.before 1755 would be welcomed.
