Hello Wayne. Was wondering if you have any dates for Rueben Alexander McKinzie/McKinzia. Also if you have a Burnard/Bernard who married an Ella. My g-aunt was Ella Stanfield and she married Burnard/Bernard M____ in about 1868-69. They are shown on an 1870 Georgia census with a child (boy, I believe) named Matt or with the initials M H. I know my g-grandfather William F Stanfield and Ella's twin sister Emma Stanfield Cunningham moved to Texas between 1870 and 1877. They are both shown on the Johnston's Station, Tarrant Co, TX 1880 census.

I'm trying to locate where Bernard and Ella went after 1870. I am hoping they too came to Texas, but without knowing his last name with certainty, it is hard to locate them. The 1870 census record is hard to read. Could you possibly have a Bernard/Burnard that married an Ella? I do know the 1870 enumerator wrote the name beginning with M and ending is a "sh", "ch" "ah" (the last could have been written as "ah" from hearing a southern accent.)

Thank you very much. Sue
