They were from the Fisk, MO area. My wife's dad, Paul W., now lives in IL, and his brother George is still in MO (I believe still in the Fisk/Butler County area). I've heard them mention possibly a grandfather named Lafayette whom they knew as "Fate". Does any of this ring any bells for anyone on this forum? All help immensely appreciated!
