My great grandfather Daniel McKenzie bo. 1793 in VA and moved to Ill. Edwards Co. in about 1834-1836. He had a son Joshua born 1827 in Tenn. He was listed as a farmer in the 1850 ILL census. He may have gone to MO after that. as he was only 23. I have Him married to Frances Wells 30 June 1868. 1860 Census has Joshua 35 and a carpenter.
Daniel is buried in ILL. but I don't know about Joshua.
