Hi Lois,
You're obviously light years ahead of me in terms of both the quantity and quality of your research. I still have a lot to learn about this game.

It sounds to me that your suggesting the 1752 birth date for our George may not be correct. And that it may have been our George's father who is named in the 1773 real estate transaction in the Mundell-Barry book. I have no problem challinging accepted ideas in this environment so if that's the case, very cool.

Are you also suggesting that our George could have been born here and not in Scotland and that, if there's a relationship, William McKenzie may have been his grandfather and be the Scottish connection. Have you found any deeds or other doc's that connect these men?

Thank you very much for all of your help with this. You're both teaching and sharing a great deal with me.
