How about Thomas W. Leach and Ephemy for the parents of Hester Ann Leach? Their census record appears in 1850 and 1860 of Owen twp., Clinton Co., IN. 1860: Thomas W. Leach 62, b. VA; Ephemy 56, b. N.C.; Joshua 26, b. Ohio; John W. b. Indiana. An Abner Leach 22 is on the same page, with wife and son Joshua C.
In 1850, this family appears in the same twp. as Thomas Leach 50 b.N.C., Ephema 44, etc. There are other Thomas Leaches in the Ancestry.com list, but this one seems to fit best. ----good luck-----Larry
