Another Possibility For George W Mckinsey 1752-1840

I am curious about the possibility that George Mckinsey(1752-1840) may have spent part of his life or have been born in Frederick County, Virginia. I was reading something a couple weeks ago about Quaker migrations through America and Georges path seems to follow right a long with theirs.
Wasn't his wife Sarah a Quaker? Could it be that his parents were from Scotland but he was born here? Or that he was born in Scotland and started his American life in Frederick County, Virginia? Because Georges roots are so difficult to find I think we need to consider the Virginia connection.

Happy Ancestor Hunting,

Bruce
