THE HISTORY OF CLINTON COUNTY, INDIANA
Published by the Interstate Publishing House of Chicago in 1886.
Urban C. McKINSEY - b 6th February 1825, Montgomery Co., Indiana
Older Brother of Mordecai B. McKINSEY is also in this publication and is quoted on pg 641:
"Nehemiah McKENSEY, born in North Carolina, son of George W. McKINSEY, George came from Scotland before the Revolutionary War, in which he served as a soldier before the Revolutionary War, in which he served as a soldier and was captured by the enemy."
Certainly, two of the sons of Nehemiah McKINSEY, son of George W. McKINSEY believed their Grandfather was b in Scotland.
