Larry, Any ideas on where I could get a copy of that book? I have copies of the census documents but would appreciate any additional information you may have on Ad. C. McKenzie or Jaspers other children. A.C. signed Jasper's funeral guest book in 1938 and put his address down as Los Angeles. I have no idea what the initials stand for. I found an obituary from 2004 for one of Jaspers great grandsons and I've sent that persons son a letter asking if he has any photos, documents, or other information he would be willing to share. The fellow in the obituary was JAMES WILLIAM MCKENZIE, son of Ryan McKenzie & Ada Florence McAnelly, grandson of Murray W. McKenzie, great grandson of Jasper O. McKenzie. Murray had two sons, William and Ryan. He lived in Texas, Oklahoma, and Montana and I believe he was a railroad dispatcher. Hester Elizabeth (Lizzie) McKenzie married a fellow named A.A. Morgan. They show up on a couple census documents living near Jasper. Right now might greatest interests are in finding out what happened to Martha May McKenzie and why her father George R McKenzie re-married between 1920 and 1930. I'd also like very much to know about what happened to his second wife May (Minnie) Gentry-Evetts-McKenzie. I would also like very very much to know what year George W. McKinsey/McKenzie came to America and on which boat. I have a copy of what I believe is his baptism record from Scotland. Baptized April 3, 1752, Inverarity and Methy Parish, Forfar (now Angus) County. Fathers name John McKenzie. Bruce sbgorilla@sbcglobal.net Notify Administrator about this message?
