Is there any McKinsey`s out there that live in GA, or from GA that date back to 1776 to 1850?
My great garndmother Jariah Jane Mckinsey was born 1830 in GA, daughter of John McKinsey b 1801 GA,and Jane Canady b in GA his father was born in Scottland came to America about 1774.
I have just found that when the frist move AR 1848 they spelled their name McKinsey. Was spelled that way on Marriae
Ceft.As later they changed to McKenzie.
their Children were, William b 1828 GA,Jariah, b 1830 GA, Azariah b 1831 GA, Lousie b 1832 GA,Green b 1839 GA, Martha b 1841 GA, Thomas b 1843 GA, James b 1845 GA, John,and Ambrose,I believe they were b 1832 and 1839, as they married in 1850 Lawrence CO AR. Thank you for any help. Verlee
