Looking for information on CE McKinnon who married Ada Gilder in 1888 Clay Co., GA. Was CE Crayton E, son of William W. and Lucy McKinnon? Ada was the daughter of Henry G. Gilder and Prudence Heath, originally of Randolph CO., GA. But this family moved from Randolph to Henry CO., AL back to the Clay, Randolph, Calhoun Co. area after the war. Family lore says that Ada's first husband died shortly after their marriage. She married Wiley Nathaniel Dixon in 1895 in Coffee Co., AL.
