I am actually researching the Johnson Family of Randolph Co. GA but the family name Mckinnon keeps coming up. Frances Mckinnon Married John Garrett 28 Aug. 1839 then found William Johnson married Frances Garrett 8 Feb. 1849. We think Frances is the Mother of my Ggrandmother Nancy Louise Johnson Helms whose family moved from GA to AL. Can anyone tell me about this family? William Johnson also married a Margaret whom some one in the family says was a Mckinnon.?????
