once again i will post hoping for a miracle. GGgrandfather, laughlin mckinnon, born in 1826 in north carolina.... records say in tennessee in 1850 married to elizabeth sherman probably in 1850, came to texas in 1859 with 2 children born in tenn. died in texas in 1899. trying for a year and half to find parents name. in census, laughlin says parents both born in north carolina. also contested norman mckinnon, as executor of murdock mckinnon's estate in texas, and had him removed. after having read all documents, looks like laughlin was a nephew of murdock mckinnons. does any of this sound familar. help, i am going nuts....
