Dear Mr. Waldo,

I happened to check this site and saw your info. on your relationship to Barnaby McKinnie(Macquinney. My GGGGGGGGG(?)grandfather was John, the brother of Barnaby. From all the info. I can find, they were the only children of Michael Macquinney and his wife Elizabeth of the Isle of Wight, VA. His will is dated 15 Apr 1686. I'm just a bit envious, because I know very little about John. Barnaby, on the other hand, has a lot of info.. I am also trying to make the connection of Michael to Scotland, but so far no luck. The records of Nansemond Co., VA were destroyed, and I might not be able to find out any more about John or Michael. If you have any info. that you would be willing to share, I would greatly appreciate it. I would be happy to share any info. I have that would help you.
