There was a very strong family connection between Walkers and McKinneys in early Roane County, Tennessee - were you aware of that? Or checked that out as a possible link to your family?

But I do have this: David P. Walker m. Jane McKinney 7 Feb 1821 in Grainger County, Tennessee. So perhaps they were not from the Roane County group.

I know that there were some postings on RootsWeb message boards for the Walker / McKinney families.
