Perhaps someone can help me with another Lampkin McKinney. I continue to try to sort out the various individuals that are part of my family file although I am not a direct descendant. I would like to determine the parents of;
1850 United States Federal Census, Tennessee, Morgan County, Subdivision 19, stamped page 281, line 12, dwelling #54, family #54; McKinney, Lampkin (60 M W farmer NC), Elizabeth (50 F W NC), Andrew (22 M W laborer NC), Pleasant (20 M W laborer NC), Jane (17 F W laborer NC), Elean (15 F W NC), Elizabeth (13 F W NC), Prescella (11 F W NC), Rankin (3 M W NC) and Nancy Ann (3 F W NC). Lampkin is listed with $100 of owned real estate. Pleasant, Jane and Elean are noted attending school within the year. The enumeration was taken on August 20, 1850 by A. H. Henduse[?] (DAM - July 2009).
I believe the spouse of this Lampkin is Elizabeth McKinney, daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth (Sabine) McKinney but that needs to be confirmed as well.
