I'm searching for McKinney stories to consider for use in my stories/books.
My first book,"The Americans," a collection of 13 Historical Nuggets and short stories, is 60% McKinney stories and characters.
I'd prefer getting as much info as possible about your McKinney ancestors' stories. I can work with less info but it would be best if I have almost too much info.
When I use your lead/info in one of my published stories I will give you credit for your contribution in my "Acknowledgements" in the same book. That way, both you and your McKinney relative are honored together in print.
Please keep in mind my stories are as historically authentic as possible but they are considered fictional because I adapt them and my characters' dialogue, thoughts, and feelings.
So there can be a genealogical factor to my stories but they are meant to to inform and entertain more than family research.
