James McKinney 9-8-1792:5-30-1861; James McKinney was the son of Alexander McKinney of Greenville District, SC.
Susan, wife of James McKinney d 11-19-1876; Susannah Pickett
Alexander McKinney 9-17-1821:7-28-1848; this is the father of several of the people mentioned in this posting.
Mary McKinney 5-14-1824:12-15-1836; Mary was the daughter of Alexander McKinney (just above) of Greenville District, SC.

William McKinney 9-18-1828:8-24-1918; this is the son of James McKinney & Clarinda Hodges
Ellen Angeline, wife of William McKinney 5-8-1846:11-2-1914; this is Ellen Angeline Ward, the third wife of William McKinney.She is buried with him.
1st Lt. Daniel H. McKinney, Co. H, 2 S.C. Inf. C.S.A.; this is my ancestor.There are no dates on his stone.I believe him to be born about abt. 1831. The last record I can find on him is the Greenville, SC 1880 census, so he died sometime after 1880.
D. S. McKinney 3-12-1864:10-8-1889; this is D. Spartan McKinney, son of Daniel H. McKinney and his second wife.I've never been sure of the name of his second wife.It may be "Thomson."
Mahala McKinney 6-3-1827:1-31-1856; she was the daughter of Alexander McKinney of Greenville District, SC.She married Col. Wilson Barton.He remarried and finally died in Burnett, TX
