Your message mentions two of three McKinnell brothers; was the third brother named John? Agnes and Robert Bowie, who are possibly the children of Annie McKinnell, are living with John and Sarah McKinnell in the 1880 census in the town of Bonpas, Richland co., IL.
I believe that the daughter named Ella McKinnell, age 15, living in this household, is my friend's g-grandmother. Do you have any information on John? Do you know whether or not he is the brother of James and Peter? Any information you would care to share with us would be greatly appreciated.
