Your message was posted years ago, so you may have already found this or may not be interested anymore. I just recently started searching for my friend (this is not my line)and found a McKinnell family in the 1880 census; living with their grandparents, John and Sarah McKinnell, are Agnes, age 5, and Robert, age 2, Bowie. They are in Bonpas, Richland, IL.
Our interest is in Ella (or Ellen) McKinnell. She is my friend's g-grandmother. Have you acquired any information on the family since posting your message? We'd like to know more about John and Sarah.
