James McKinnell. I have quite a bit of information on two of the three McKinnell brothers that left Wigtonshire, Scotland in 1855, Peter to Elgin, Illinois (my great-grandfather),and James, Peter's brother, to Australia/Tasmania. I have been in touch by email with a Kathryn Curran of Tasmania, a direct descendent of James McKinnell, and a cousin several times removed. Dave Smith who made the original posting to which you responded, is my first cousin. I live in Midlothian, Virginia.
