CAROLINE6 HELTON (JOHN5, JOSEPH4, BEACHAM3, THOMAS TOM LITHFUSS ORLEFUS CREEBECK2, UNKNOWN1 CHEROKEE) was born 1860 in Polk County, TN. She married MCKINLEY.
Notes for CAROLINE HELTON:
At the time she filled our the Indian Application #10181 she was living in Young Cane, GA in Union County. She was married and her husband was 54 years old and she had two children living and this was 30 May 1907. Her two witnesses were Nelson Dockry and J.R. Shepard. She stated her grandfather, Joseph was 1/2 Cherokee blood. Other witnesses who appeared--John W. Hendrix and H.J. Gurley.
Children of CAROLINE HELTON and MCKINLEY are:
i. JAMES WILEY7 MCKINLEY, b. 05 May 1894.
ii. LILA MCKINLEY, b. 07 May 1899.
