Yes that is correct David Telfair McKim is not of the Pennsylvania McKim's. His father was John McKim who came from Londonderry, Ireland to Baltimore and then went into Philadelphia to stay with a distant cousin also by the name of John McKim and he met his wife and then returned to Baltimore and had his children here and David was one of them. To distinguished the two John's from one another one was John McKim Jr and the other was Quaker John McKim. Now Quaker John McKim married his first wife Margaret Duncan in Philadelphia and after she died he removed to Baltimore but he had his three sons by Margaret in Philadelphia, Isaac, William Duncan and Thomas McKim. Anyway completely different lines I know. Sorry could not be of more help. Carolyn
