Hi, I am trying to find descendants of John T McKim he was the son of Martina Merchant and George W. McKim. John was born abt 1841 Richmond, Virginia and died 16 March 1904 New Canton, Buckingham, Virgina. He was a Civil War Soldier and at the age of 9 he lived in Montgomery County, Maryland with his grandfather John Merchant. Martina Merchant married George W. McKim 15 April 1840 Leesburg, Loudoun County, Virginia, he being the son of James McKim and Martha Patty Wright and grandson of Patterson Wright and other McKim grandparents unknown at this current time. Martena Merchant married a 2nd time 5 April 1848 Leesburg, Loudoun County, Virginia to John T. Steele. I believe that George W. McKim died sometime after the birth of their son John T. McKim and before 1848. Anyone that has any information on this John T McKim I would so appreciate it. Thanks Carolyn
