Tom Harold McKim 1901 Sligo

I've recently decided to start looking into to finding as much information as I can about my McKim heritage.

It seems that I had a great grandfather by the name of Thomas Harold McKim (or maybe just Tom Harold McKim... I'm not sure which). He was born in County Sligo and I believe in the town of Sligo itself, in Ireland around 1900 give or take a few years. He then emigrated from there to Canada at a very early age with his family.

This is wehre I'm really in the dark; I don't know the names of any of his immediate family not to mention anything about them.

As you can see, I really don't know a whole lot about this man at all. From what I have heard, he was a very private man who didn't talk much about his past or the past in general for that matter.

I can also say that he grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and later became an investigator for the Canadian Pacific Railway. He had a first wife named Florence McKim with whom he had one daughter by the mane of margaret McKim. Some years after the untimely death of Florence, he married a woman named Grace. Tom McKim later died in the mid 1970's (1976 I believe).

So, if you or someone you know knows anything whatsoever about Tom McKim and or his family, I would greatly appreciate to hear about it. My name is Adam.

Thanks
