Johnson who was about the right birth date to be Jeffries M. Johnson Sr. His parents were Hewitt Johnson b. NY and Mildred McKim Johnson b. MO. The 1920 Denver census shows the newborn Jeffries living with his parents and grandparents Cora and Gilbert McKim. Gilbert was born in Iowa, and his parents were born in Pennsylvania. The lineage can be somewhat confirmed by the 1930 census when Cora McKim is listed as Hewitt's mother in law and Mary E. Haggarty is listed as a grandmother in law. Cora McKim was born in Canada. Grandfather Gilbert is not listed, but a new son age 4 (brother to Jeffries Sr.) is named Gilbert. Is this your family? Janet Armstrong Notify Administrator about this message?
