Steve, as I said, it is very possible and even likely. I have almost no iformation on my 3rd great uncle William McKim. But the name Andrew Jackson Mckim is not really that unusual. As you probably know, Andrew jackson was the first great American hero of Scots-Irish descent. Many Scots-Irish families named their sons after him.
