Stevenston is in the District of Cunningham Parish
about 74 miles wsw of Edinburgh, 30 sw of Glasgow and 19 north of Ayr. I was searching for Beveridge surname and used the following:

Note: in 1845 a cholera epidemic killed over 600 persons - they were buried in mass grave - a monument was erected later. In 1854 another cholera epidemic killed many.
