Pam: Thanks your quick and very helpful followup. I spent most of yesterday (a dreary day in March)poking around on these genealogy questions. I'm convinced that the McKillips are related to the Hollidays through Jane H (Holliday?) Elliott, but I can't track down exactly how.
My wife Rebecca and her sister Emily and brother Bruce (your third cousins, I guess) are the children of Blair Lewis McKillip, Jr. and grandchildren of Blair Lewis McKillip. Homer and Rebecca were siblings of William McKillip, your Ruth McKillip's brother. Unfortunately, none of their McKillips are left in Hollidaysburg, as their dad died in 1968 and their mom Jacuelyn Roberts McKillip now lives in here Philadelphia (where we live) in advanced stages of Alzheimer's.
