In "A Stake in the West" published by the Carnduff & District Historical Society, Carnduff, Saskatchewan in 1979 (Friesen Printers, Altona, Manitoba) there is an article submitted by Henrietta (McKillop) Bishop. Some of the information is as follows:
John McKillop, 4 Apr 1825 - 1890, immigrated from Arran Island, Scotland at age 4 aboard the "Caledonia". In 1858 he married Anne Hill, b 18 July 1838. They had 8 children; Jack, Jean, Mary, Alexander, Katherine Roberta, Margaret and Henrietta.
"Little" Jack McKillop, 1860 - 1912 at Inverness Quebec. He came west with mother, brother Sandy and sister Margaret to homestead at Carnduff. He married Agnes Johnson 20 August 1893. She died 1910, buried in Carnduff cemetery. Jack returned to Inverness where he died in 1912.
Hope this is of some help or interest. There is much more in the original article.
