Am looking for further information about David McKie, mason, b 1708 at Straiton, Ayrshire, spouse of Jean Graham, who had children at Dalmellington in the 1730s-1750s and is buried at the Dalmellington Cemetery (died c 1772). Also looking for info about David's parents John McKie "of this parish" (Dalmellington)who married Marion Ferguson ("of Straiton") at Dalmellington in 1705. There is a will of a William McKie at Dalmellington 1671 but I cannot read it...the script is not modern. Has anyone managed to decipher this document?
