Has anyone seen this article about McKie of Larg? It is actually titled The Bruch and Bannockburn - a historical essay by Elizabeth D. Mckaskle and can be read at:

I found this especially entertaining - I found this article in 2002. I was especially interested in the part of the story that tells how Bruce put the three brothers to the test by having them shoot Raven's with their arrows. McKie of Larg shot and speared the raven with his arrow. It says the coat of arms is the ravens transfixed on an arrow. In 1981 - before I read this story - I had a daughter and named her Raven. Raven McKie. I thought that was awsome. haha. Does anyone else know more about this story. I have found a McKie coat of arms with the Ravens on the arrows.

Don't know if this is true - but since it is an historical article - that tends to make me believe it more.
